UNU-WIDER Library - World Institute for Development Economics Research

The WIDER Library was established in 1985 and the services are primarily given to the in-house research staff. There are anyhow restricted lending services to external library users, too.

The Library’s collections and new acquisitions are based on WIDER’s research project at a given time. The main focus is development economics.

There are approximately 10 000 titles in the monograph collection at the moment. There are also special collections to the publications of several international organizations including Asian Development Bank’s depository collection.

The in-house researchers may borrow books by filling in the pink slip found in the back cover. For borrowing journal issues, there are white slips for filling in on the desk. Please, leave the filled in slips on the desk for registration.
